Welcome Users!
--------------
PC-Heini is a Textviewer for simple ASCII-Texts. It uses MUI to provide
a comfortable user interface. The problem is that PCH (PC-Heini) isn`t
still finished. Therefore some functions are not yet implemented. But I
will keep on hacking.
When PCH is finished some day, i`ll put a better documentation to the
archive. Until then this file must be enough.
PCH should run on any amigas where MUI runs (>=OS 2.0). It is only
tested on an A3000/OS3.1 and an A2000-030/OS3.1.
Send bug reports to wir95ccv@manitu.rz.uni-leipzig.de
If you start the Progi from cli/shell there are two switches currently
understood by PCH
<textfile> ...loads a textfile
-l <textfile> ...loads a textfile (obsolete since Pch V0.3)
-h ...gives help
-n ...do not display the control panel
------------------------------------------------------------------------
| ----------- ----------- ---------- ------------- ------------- |

The above is the control panel. You can pop it away using the menu or the
rcommand - p - shortcut. It has exactly the same functions as the menu.
< - jump to last page
> - jump to next page
search - enter an search keyword (not yet case-insensitive, sorry)
FWD - jump to next found word
BWD - jump to last found word
oh, and there is another button in the right upper corner. it is the
load-button :-)
Pch V0.3 now supports the cursor-keys for scroling and the _help-key_ for
re-positioning after changing the window-size or poping the panel.
You can download the latest version of PCH at:
